Partner With Hoop2Heal
Real partnerships we work with today — and a proven path for a new organization to begin.
Organizations We Work With Today

Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center
Shreveport, LA
What began as a Hoop2Heal 20-week pilot at Red Shield Youth Center has grown into a 3-year contract, renewed annually — bringing the full Hoop2Heal 20-Week Program into Red Shield's after-school and summer programming, alongside new Hoop2Heal-affiliated basketball teams.

Hood Humanitarian
Community Gardening Program
Founded by Hoop2Heal co-founder David L. Holmes, MSW, Hood Humanitarian develops community-based initiatives at the intersection of mental health, behavioral development, and environmental well-being. Through nature- and place-based interventions, the organization creates opportunities for hands-on learning, social connection, emotional growth, and meaningful engagement with the environment. Its work is informed by Holmes' research in Environmental Psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center, connecting community programming with emerging research on nature, environmental stress, and well-being.

Vanity Cuts — iCut4That
Mobile Barber Network
iCut4That, a program operated by Vanity Cuts, provides barbering and dreadlock services — including haircuts for residents in residential and program settings — alongside a curriculum introducing participants to the barbering trade, practical trade skills, career development, entrepreneurship, workforce opportunities, mentorship, career exploration, and life skills.
Hoop2Heal 14U AAU Team
Hoop2Heal sponsored and supported a 14U AAU basketball team competing in 11 national tournaments. Every player completed the Hoop2Heal 20-week summer program, gaining skills in mental wellness, leadership, and teamwork alongside their on-court development. This reflects Hoop2Heal's sponsorship and program support — not team ownership.
