Sport-Based Development

Sport Is the Vehicle. Development Is the Outcome.

Hoop2Heal is a sport-based development organization — using sport as the vehicle for a range of developmental, behavioral, mentoring, counseling, and training services. Youth development is currently our strongest proof of concept, with individual athlete mentorship and team-based services growing alongside it.

What Is Hoop2Heal?

A Sport-Based Development Organization

Hoop2Heal is a sport-based development organization founded by Chad Lott, a former collegiate athlete and licensed mental health practitioner. Sport — currently basketball — is the vehicle through which we deliver developmental, behavioral, mentoring, counseling, and training services across youth development, individual and group work, and athlete development.

Where Hoop2Heal Is Making Its Strongest Impact Today

Youth development is our current core — anchored by the Hoop2Heal 20-Week Pilot Program, a proven entry point that brings our approach into a school, youth center, or organization to demonstrate value and build toward a longer-term partnership.

Hey Coach Chad! Just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm still committed to the 21-day challenge from last year. I've been alcohol-free since October.
